Quilt-along - Fabrics

My first quilt is going to be something between baby and lap size. Lap size will require 60 different fabrics? Oh no, I am not going to buy any new fabrics for this project! Baby size requires just 24 different fabrics.

I found a simple converter, at this time of night my mental calculation doesn't work.

Each individual block finishes at 12" square.
That is 30,5 cm.

Baby size=36" x 48"
Equals 91.4 cm x 121.9 cm.

Lap size=60" x 72"
That is 152,4 cm x 182.9 cm. Way too much for my skills.
